The Great Raleigh Cleanup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a litter-free Raleigh through the power of community. Our mission is to embrace the strength of community to ensure litter-free neighborhoods for all.
We offer a range of programs designed to make a lasting impact. Adopt-the-Block empowers residents to take ownership of their streets, landfill diversion at live events reduces waste and promotes sustainability, and our Workforce Program provides employment opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness while tackling litter across the city. From kid-friendly cleanups to corporate volunteer events, we provide meaningful ways for everyone to get involved.

The Great Raleigh Cleanup collects aluminum cans and promotes recycling to help minimize the environmental impact of live events and educate community members on the importance of diverting materials from the landfill.
